The PSATF delegation led by its chairman Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Memon during its visit to KPK had a meeting with the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce under the Chairmanship of President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce. President, Senior President, General Secretary and other officials of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting.
The President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce identified the potential sectors of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Honey, Furniture, Gemstone, Pharmacy, Handmade Carpets and Industrial Minerals. All these sectors having the huge potential to be exported to international market.
Following were major decisions made;
Sarhad Chamber of Commerce will support the mission and vision of PSATF to develop and increase the bilateral trade between Pakistan & Africa.
Sarhad Chamber will also provide support joint venture projects of the 5- Star Hotel and Soda Ash project in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce will also sign MoU with the Trade Chamber in South Africa for the better coordination and bilateral trade development with the support of PSATF.
The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce will send delegation to the South Africa as scheduled by the PSATF.
The PSATF local team will actively engage with the Sarhad Chamber and its Trade Associations for awareness and facilitations and assist them in trade between South Africa & Pakistan.
