Honorable Chairman Pakistan Southern Africa Trade Federation Mr. Muhammad Rafiqe Memon visited Engro Polymer and Chemicals along with his delegation on Jan 13, 2025 at Port Qasin Karachi
The delegation was hosted by CEO of the Company Mr. Abdul Qayoom and senior management.
The next day on 14 Jan, the PSATF delegation visited the display center of Engro Polymers’ finished products at DHA Karachi on the suggestion of the CEO.
Engro Polymer & Chemicals offered active partnership and sponsorship for PSATF for the business development and collaboration in promoting raw material and finished products of Engro Polymers partners.
The company also expressed interest in visiting South Africa, possibly in April 2025.
Mr. Rafiq Memon, Founding Chairman PSATF, was the guest of honor at the Engro Polymer and Chemicals showcase Think PVC of their downstream industries located at Bokhari Commercial in Phase VI DHA, Karachi. Mr. Shahjehan Hashmani, Agri Consultant on PSATF Advisory Board, accompanied him on the occasion.
Mr. Qambar Raza, Business Development Manager EPCL, welcomed the guests and explained the various PVC based finished products for homes, industries, Agri applications, and hospitals and health care. The USP of standard PVC product is a long, maintenance-free, useful life, and it has value for money.
Mr. Rafiq Memon visited the EPCl plant at Port Qasim. Engro Polymer has the state of art fully integrated PVC production facility and also manufactures various downstream chemicals like caustic soda, sodium hypochloride, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide etc.
Mr. Rafiq Memon, along with Zaki Ahmed Shariff, President PSATF (PC), and Shahjehan Hashmani, member PSATF Advisory Board, were received by Engro Polymer management.
